Cross country skiing in LapplandIt wasn't too often that I had been in Lappland to ski. Now I had a chance to stay a week in Saariselkä, the most popular resort in the finnish Lappland among cross country skiers. It was just skiing, taking sauna baths and eating reindeer meat... In the one week I did 214km, with 4813m ascend, average pulse of 124,in 28 hours of skiing and burned 13000 KCal. Take a look in the Photo album: Here is the GPS track of the last day's trip via Palopää, Vellinsärpimänoja, Luulampi, Kiilopää and Muotkan maja. Alltogether 60km in one day!
