I had some vacation days unused from the previous year, that I was supposed to use before the end of March. After considering the possibilities I had, I decided to have a real sunbathing vacation, combined with good food. The goal was Phuket in Thailand.
It was hot and humid there. And I had a cold. The better reason to be like an average tourist: lay on the beach! It was the first time in my life to rent one of those beachcouches. Having fever, a running nose and cough under that burning sun was almost funny.
I did manage to do something else, too. With Andaman Sea Kayak I did the Phang Nga Bay Trip. Fabulous islands and lagoons; more in the photo album!
I participated on a scuba diving course also by Santana, as I thought the cold was going away. Well, it wasn't. By the way, Santana have great underwater photos on their website.
